The way I teach yoga is they way I was taught, which is for self-healing and personal development. I use yoga as a tool to teach you to slow down and tune in so you can feel inside yourself with curiosity and compassion, to create union, cohesion, awareness and understanding of and for yourself so healing can happen.
Helen enrolled to do her yoga teacher training with Vitality Yoga in order to empower and enrich her understanding of yoga and the subtle energy bodies. Her mentor and guide in the yoga training (and in life) Kehry Frank, had over 40 years of yoga experience and was a incredible kinesiologist who was trained in numerous other healing modalities and literally changed the lives of thousands of people. Kehry through yoga teacher training, introduced Helen to concepts that changed the way she lived, moved, thought, breathed, understood, interacted and related to herself and the world around her.
The yoga Helen feels drawn to share these days is very much inspired by Kehry and her style of classes combined with her own ever growing passion for women’s embodiment and their womb heart and head connection. Classes encourage you to slow down, tune in and to use your breath as a gauge, as a guide.
The classes integrate Hatha postures with aspects of other healing modalities Helen has studied and practiced. This makes them a unique and eclectic blend that provides a therapeutic experience, encouraging each person to grow their own awareness and understanding of their physical body, energetic bodies and to connect to and honour the innate wisdom within them that allows them to become their own best friend and healer.
